Six course meal with canapés on arrival
The exclusive menu will be created by Chef/Proprietor James Ford using the finest possible ingredients, and will be available for one evening only,
at a cost of £39.95 per person
or £139.95 per couple to include an overnight stay and a full English breakfast

Please choose one of the following from each course:
1st course
Ham, pea and barley soup with Cottage Loaf
Oxtail, parsnip and beetroot soup with sage and onion bread
Leek and potato soup with chicken stock
2nd course
Roast plaice fillet with fennel and dill mash
Fish and chips, mushy peas and caper mayonnaise
Roast pigeon breast with broad beans and Cumberland sauce
Mull mussels and haddock with bacon, shallots and parsley
Seared Cornish squid and scallops with dill, honey and mustard dressing.
3rd course
Elderflower and honey sorbet
4th course
Veal fillet, broad beans and braised kidneys in port and thyme
Lamb hotpot, sweet bread, and caramelized cabbage
Herb crusted halibut fillet with crushed new potatoes & hollandaise
Beef Wellington with caramelized red cabbage and red wine gravy
Venison fillet in it`s own roasting juices, with juniper berries and redcurrant herb dumplings
T-bone steak, roasted Lancashire cheese and mustard mash, grilled tomato and mushroom
Shank of ham with roast vegetables, lavender, sage
and honey gravy.
5th course
Jam roly-poly with custard and fresh berries
Old English trifle with shortbread
Bread and butter pudding with vanilla infused custard
Hot chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream
Yorkshire lemon curd tart with berry compote
6th course
