We are pleased to invite our customers once again to an Evening of French Gourmet Food and Wine consisting of a
Six course meal with canapés on arrival
The exclusive menu will be created by Chef/Proprietor James Ford using the finest possible ingredients, and will be available for one evening only,
at a cost of £39.95 per person
or £139.95 per couple to include an overnight stay and a full English breakfast

1st course
SOUPE A L`OIGNON GRATINEE
Onion soup "au gratin"
Tasty French Onion soup topped with a slice of toasted baguette and melted gruyere cheese
OR
BOUILLABAISSE
Traditional French seafood soup. A mix of seabass, salmon, haddock, prawns, mussels and lobster in an aromatic fish stock flavoured with fresh tomato, chervil and bay leaves and served with a slice of crusty baguette.
2nd course
LE CITRON REMPLI FILET SEUL SUR UN VERINQUE DE SAUCE
Fillet of lemon sole steamed and wrapped around a delicate salmon and dill mousse set on a sauce Veronique made from chardonnay, cream, lemon zest and grapes.

MOULES MARINIERE
One of Frances best loved dishes; fresh mussels simply cooked in white wine, garlic, shallots, chervil and crème fresh
3rd course
SORBET
To clean the palate; quenelles of sangria and Champagne sorbet
4th course
fillet de boeuf et foie gras
Centre cut Beef fillet served blue (optional) and foie Gras set on a potato and horseradish rosti finished with fresh thyme and a delicately flavoured Pernod jus

SEABASS AND SCALLOP
Herbed crusted seabass with king scallops and herbs de Provence, served on blanched fennel in white wine and fish jus
or
COQ AU VIN
Chunks of herbed poussin (Baby Chicken) and streaky bacon and wild mushroom duxele finished with a herbed Burgundy stock(All main courses will be served with a side portion of potato gratin, petit-pois with streaky bacon and baby carrots.)
5th course
