Welcome to my page, This is where I get to brag about myself !
After gaining my three year Catering Diploma in Bombay, I started my career in the restaurant business as a lowly kitchen porter and waiter and within a period of six months progressed to the position of Head Chef in a reputable London restaurant. For the next fifteen years I slogged my pants off to gain a wealth of experience both in the kitchen and in front of house by working in numerous other prestigious London restaurants before taking over the tenancy of an Oxford golf club restaurant, where my passion for food took me to a new low when I tried to coax wild ducks into my oven by leading them in using trails of breadcrumbs. From there I went about searching the country for the perfect setting to open a fine-dining restaurant that would represent my passion for the finest quality food, beautifully presented and a level of service which would become the trademark of Truffles Restaurant and the Parkville hotel. It was an added bonus to be in an area where I could make use of the fabulous local produce, although regrettably none would be as fresh as my golf club duck. Hope to see you soon Home |
